RepBuddy
Camera-counted pushups with a daily crew challenge
A pushup tracker that counts your reps in the browser. Point your camera at yourself and pose detection (TensorFlow.js MoveNet, with a no-camera Tap fallback) tallies each rep with an elbow-angle state machine. Finishing a set starts a daily group round: your crew is pinged live and has 24 hours to match your number or sit out that round only, so a miss never lingers. Wins, per-exercise leaderboards (crew, global and crew vs. crew) and live crew boards are all derived rather than stored as counters, and they update live over Socket.IO and Web Push.

Community cat-colony management
A shared digital record for trap-neuter-return volunteer groups: cat profiles with photo/video galleries, medical timelines with due-date reminders, feeding logs with attendance-based "last seen" alerts, public share pages with Open Graph unfurls, and Leaflet maps with location-privacy fuzzing for non-members. Trust and safety are built in, with admin approval and member-only contact visibility.

Chief Technology Officer · BidOnIt.liveRemote
- Led product and engineering for a real-time marketplace for vintage items, from cars to collectibles, while staying hands-on in the codebase daily, production debugging included.
- Managed a team of 4 across engineering and design. About 35 beta users tested MVP 1.0, which ran the company's first real auction outside the testing environment.
- Grew from Founding Engineer to Chief Technology Officer. Designed a scalable technical architecture built for real-time performance across web, mobile and backend, and bridged technical decisions and business outcomes for non-technical stakeholders.
- Shaped product strategy and validated the core value proposition with early users, then ran demos for investors and incorporated their feedback into the next MVP update.
- Built the real-time bidding UI in Next.js, React and TypeScript: client-side bid validation mirroring the server transaction, soft-close anti-sniping timer extensions, and race-condition guards so a late update never closed a lot on stale state.
- Made bidding server-authoritative instead of trusting the client: moved bid placement into a Cloud Function that verified the Firebase ID token and validated the amount, tiered increment, reserve and lot state inside a Firestore transaction, so simultaneous bids were serialized by the database and the losing bid got a clean rejection. The same transaction applied the soft-close extension and the hard cutoff at timer zero, and resolved outstanding proxy (max) bids.
- Kept one shared auction clock on the server document that every viewer rendered, and made the host's once-a-second tick transactional so it could never overwrite an anti-sniping reset. Ran the opening bid as a sealed 3-second window closed by an idempotent Cloud Tasks job, with a once-a-minute sweep as the backstop.
- Built the live broadcast and viewer experience on the Agora Web SDK, with the video stream deliberately carrying no auction state. Live chat ran on two transports: Firestore as the durable record and Agora RTM for low-latency fan-out, with optimistic messages deduped by a stable id across both paths and an ordered retry queue that flushes on reconnect.
- Made the whole live auction work from a phone browser: a host could run an auction end to end on iPhone or Android, and bidders got full-bleed video with a chat overlay. Diagnosed and fixed iOS Safari issues at the root along the way, from autoplay blocks and on-screen keyboard overlap to a sign-in loop caused by storage partitioning.
- Wrote the live video broadcast and viewer screens and the sign-in stack (Apple, Google, SMS one-time codes) for the Expo / React Native iOS app, and shipped it to TestFlight.
- Found frontend performance problems with Vercel Speed Insights and Sentry and fixed them: deferred the 1.4 MB video SDK off the first-paint path and turned a seller dashboard's roughly 90 sequential Firestore reads into one concurrent batch.
- Owned beta onboarding and support end to end. Built in-app feedback and help tools that fed an AI-parsed task list, built admin tooling covering signups, payment-method setup and event registration, and tested every fix live with the beta user before closing the task.
- Also built an AI listing assistant (a Claude vision call that fills the listing form from a photo), seller analytics dashboards in Recharts, and about 340 automated tests running in CI against Firebase emulators.

Technical Account Manager · Solutions Team · AgoraSanta Clara, CA
- First TAM on Agora's newly created US TAM team; supported 40+ enterprise and about 70 commercial accounts on real-time video, voice and chat APIs.
- Averaged 9 to 12 support tickets a day against a 1-hour enterprise response SLA, and sat in live-event war rooms for Whatnot and Poshmark.
- Moved from Customer Success Manager into the Technical Account Manager seat on the Solutions team to stay hands-on with real-time technology. One of three TAMs; covered for colleagues and ran the whole TAM function during my manager's PTO.
- Served as the dedicated technical resource on a portfolio of accounts worth $2,500 to $110,000 each, across web, iOS, Android, React Native, Flutter, Unity and backend APIs, directing the Tier 1 and Tier 2 support engineers on those accounts (matrixed to the support director).
- Joined pre-sales technical calls to validate platform fit and help teams move from evaluation into a supportable production architecture, and built frontend-heavy SDK demos that showed non-technical executives the product working end to end.
- Co-created the US TAM team's onboarding program and content with my manager, and built a customized onboarding process for every customer: about 15 calls a week, each followed by a tailored packet of SDKs, GitHub demos, APIs and docs.
- Debugged customers' token and authentication failures across login, API access and custom APIs directly in the tickets; carried on-call coverage for the enterprise accounts that required it, and supported customers with HIPAA requirements.
- Sat in live-event war rooms monitoring performance and debugging in real time while Whatnot, Poshmark and other large customers hosted big streams, and handled the escalated tickets off those accounts.
- Surfaced React Native and Flutter integration gaps to product and engineering, and scoped custom SDKs with them when a customer needed a feature Agora did not ship yet.
- Worked directly with Agora's Startup Accelerator Program, assessing early-stage teams on use-case scalability, active users and funding level, then helping founders launch MVPs on the real-time stack.
- Contributed to the end-to-end QA of the OpenAI integration with Agora's Conversational AI SDK as part of a collaborative testing effort, and worked with the team on an AI-powered conference-call avatar.
- Built and maintained reproducible demos, a Postman collection for validating endpoints, and AWS Lambda functions for customer integrations and internal tooling.
